How It All Started
We have been blessed to be the caretakers of this small piece of Texas heaven. The natural beauty and wildlife on the property was just too much for us not share with everyone.
We wanted to bring our African heritage into play and a traditional African Safari Tent resonated with us. That's when we discovered Glamping or "Glamorous Camping". It was a perfect blend of comfortable lodging but also a strong connection with the environment. You quickly notice that the camps, trails and ponds all have Zulu names.
And so began the journey with a small glamping tent that quickly exploded by demand into our two latest camps, Inyoni and Umoya.
We are 3 generations of wildlife enthusiasts, conservationists, birders and photographers and we wanted to offer these same experiences to other like minded folks. Besides the camps, we started building blinds for wildlife viewing and photography. We carved trails through the bush for hiking and bird watching.
We are constantly adding and upgrading to the experiences and striving to provide enjoyment for all who visit us.
